Since 1980 Source has been dedicated to designing in the UK and manufacturing in its own factories, quality clothing and accessories for ladies, men and children. Their success at producing well-finished, stylish knitwear and accessories quickly and efficiently has ensured they continue to work with most of the high street retailers in the UK and Europe.
Project Brief: As part of their 2010 clothing range we were asked to produce a look book and conduct a film / photoshoot.
The Source Look Book for 2010 was designed around 7 themes of clothing. Each theme was portrayed in the film shoot and photoshoot. These were Global Cannibal, Source Bay, Heritage, Fallen Angel, Angel, Vintage and Warrior Safari.
Each section within the look book was designed to bring out the theme for each section. For example the Vintage section incorporated old stamps and ripped up paper to protray the older theme of the garments. The Warrior Safari section was designed with animal prints to bring the garments to life on the page.
Overall the client was extrememly pleased with the outcome of the look book. The range for 2010 sold extremely well and the design agency was asked to produce the 2011 and 2012 future books.
